Opaline Studio

Opaline Studio is a boutique boudoir and fine art portrait photography studio based in the historic Cheethams Mill in Stalybridge, Tameside.

Founded as a creative, independent studio, Opaline Studio offers a very different approach to traditional photography. We create beautifully crafted, personal portraits that celebrate individuality, confidence and self-expression in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Our sessions are completely personalised, whether someone is looking to celebrate themselves with a boudoir experience, create intimate portraits with a partner, or simply have beautiful artwork created that reflects who they are.

Our home at Cheethams Mill is a huge part of the experience. The character of the Victorian mill, its high ceilings, enormous windows and beautiful natural light provide a unique setting for creating timeless, artistic portraits. We are proud to be part of Stalybridge's growing creative community and to operate a local business within one of Tameside's distinctive historic buildings.

As a small, family-run creative business, we believe in putting people first. From the initial consultation through to the finished artwork, every client receives a personal experience rather than a one-size-fits-all photography package.

We are passionate about creating work that doesn't simply live on a phone or computer, but becomes something tangible to keep and display for years to come.
